SST celebrates its 60th Anniversary in 2008 This year marks a very special highlight for SST Corporation, as we celebrate our 60th anniversary. Our business was founded in New York City in 1948, originally as a brokerage house for heavy and industrial chemical supply. Just two years later, in 1950, it shifted direction and entered the burgeoning pharmaceutical market as a supplier of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). From those early days, SST sought out relationships with European-based API manufacturers in an approach to serving the market that continues to this day. Products News Atovaquone is an anti-malarial tablet or suspension due to come off patent in 2010 (method of use patent). Atovaquone has also been granted pediatric exclusivity. Atovaquone enjoys sales of $113M annually. SST is representing a very competitive supplier that has a novel process. There are no tentative approvals or DMF’s currently listed with the FDA. Quetiapine fumarate is a neuroleptic or antipsychotic tablet. This product is scheduled to come off patent in September of 2011 due to a product patent. Quetiapine enjoys sales of $2.9 BN annually. SST is representing an extremely reliable supplier that has already been granted their DMF. There are no tentative approvals for this product.
