Galenus Mannheim is the marketing arm of Roche Diagnostics. The Mannheim facility was the first plant to produce quinine and quinidine in the late 1800s. In 1950, Mannheim became SST’s first supplier partner. The Mannheim facility produces both APIs and intermediates.

Batch process equipment: 5 kg to 2 tons. Glass, glass-lined and stainless steel reactors: 50 liters to 10m3. Temperature range from -35°C to +220°C. Offers distillation equipment and thin film evaporators. Sample reactions include alkylation, chlorosulfonation, Grignard reactions, hydrogenations and nitrations.
